da 1a64b694bd fixes, stats removal 
- Fixed opening Discord connection for Bots.
- Fixed a lot of bad code syntax - seriously, this has to be their
  first project with Go.
- Added some placeholder comments for golint to shut up.
- Removed unnecessary code for redis stats - less library requirements,
  Yay!
